Today, we celebrate a truly remarkable woman, my beloved wife, Wuraola Aderonke Oyinkansola (WAO) Johnson, on the joyous occasion of her 50th birthday. This Golden Jubilee is a time of profound gratitude to God for a life lived in simplicity and a heart devoted to service—both to the Almighty and to humanity.
Wuraola epitomizes the Proverbs 31 woman. She is industrious, dutiful, responsible, loving, unassuming, and deeply godly. Her hands tend to her own farm, providing for our family with the fruits of her labor. She invests wisely and stays focused on her goals, embodying the essence of prudence and diligence. Her life is marked by humility, as she eschews outward adornment in favor of a modest and unpretentious lifestyle. Truly, she is a born manager, orchestrating every aspect of her life with grace and efficiency.
Our meeting was divinely orchestrated, and I owe our union to God and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Without these, our paths might never have crossed, and I would not have had the privilege of marrying this bundle of virtue. Wuraola is a blessing to everyone she encounters. Though she keeps a small circle of friends, those who know her understand her worth and cherish her deeply.
Our children—Oba Adeayo, Queen Folasewa, and Aare Dabira—rightly call her blessed. Wuraola’s ability to balance her many responsibilities is nothing short of miraculous. Despite the demands of her professional life, she remains fully dedicated to her office duties without the need for supervision. After work, she seamlessly transitions to her fashion design business, displaying her entrepreneurial spirit. And yet, she always finds time for mothering, ensuring that each of our children feels loved and supported.
One moment that encapsulates her extraordinary dedication occurred at our youngest child’s valedictory service. To my astonishment, Wuraola recited the school anthem along with the students. It left me wondering how she found the time to learn it. This small yet significant act is a testament to her incredible devotion and the boundless energy she pours into everything she does.
Wuraola, my Honey, you are the heart and soul of our family. Your unwavering faith, tireless commitment, and boundless love make you an extraordinary wife and mother. As you celebrate this significant birthday, we reflect on the countless ways you have enriched our lives and those around you.On this special day of your Golden Jubilee, we honor you and thank God for your life. May you continue to inspire, nurture, and shine brightly for many more years to come.
Happy 50th birthday, my Honey. You are truly a priceless treasure, and a bundle of Virtue
